Single-molecule biophysics and bioengineering
Dr. Meller's group is developing single molecule methods to probe biological molecules and biological processes in vitro and in live cells. For example, we study translation initiation in eukaryotic systems, probe the mRNA dynamics in cells and develop new techniques for high-throughput DNA sequencing and genome profiling.
